§ What Happens After You Send Your Project
No black box. No sales call. Just a written reply.
Auto-confirmation lands in your inbox with your project ID. It is logged for the founder.
Personally, not a customer-success layer. Feasibility check against current calendar and atelier capacity.
Fixed price, line-itemized, with timeline. Or a written explanation if we are not the right house for the work.
No pressure. No follow-up calls. If you proceed, deposit confirms the commission. If not, no harm done.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order?
Five units per style, with the design fee paid up front. Without the design fee the minimum rises to roughly fifty units. Most designers we work with start with five-piece capsule samples and scale up once a style proves out.
Will you respect my tech pack?
Yes. We execute to your spec. If we see a construction issue we flag it before cutting; nothing changes without written sign-off. Your tech pack is yours; we do not modify it without permission.
How is sampling priced?
From $850 per iteration. Most styles take two to four cycles to reach a sign-off sample. Each cycle includes pattern revisions, fit notes, and the physical sample shipped to you.
Do you sign mutual NDAs?
Yes. Mutual NDA is standard before any brief is shared. We sign yours or send ours; either is fine.
How long from sketch to shelf?
Twelve to twenty weeks for a standard capsule, depending on materials lead time and sample iteration count. Rush is possible for premium pricing.
Do you do hand-finished construction?
Yes. Hand-finishing, French seams, bound interiors, hand-stitched buttonholes, hand-beading. Hand-finished is +60 to +250 percent on per-unit cost.
How quickly do you actually reply?
Within 48 business hours. Median response time is 18 hours. We respond from the founder's inbox at [email protected]. If you do not see a reply in 48 hours, check spam.
Do I have to talk to anyone before I get a price?
No. The first interaction is a written quote in your inbox. We do not require a discovery call before pricing. Some clients prefer to talk after the quote lands; that is fine but optional.
Who owns the patterns and tech pack?
You do. Full intellectual property transfer to you after final payment. The pattern files, tech pack, grading, and BOM are yours. We retain an internal archive copy for reorders only.
What if I cancel before production?
Design fee paid before sampling begins is non-refundable once design work has started. Production deposit is refundable up until cutting begins. After cutting, the materials cost is locked in. We tell you clearly at each stage.
Can I see the fabric before sample?
Yes. Fabric swatches ship to you for sign-off before sampling begins. For commissions with custom fabric sourcing, lead time is 4 to 8 weeks for swatches.
