§ 001 / The Logo-Slap Problem
Logo on a Printful blank is not a brand. It is a coupon. It does not earn repeat purchase. It does not survive the platform attention cycle.
Your audience knows the difference. Generic-blank fit, generic-blank construction, generic-blank thread quality. They will buy once for support. They will not buy twice.
§ 002 / What Real Looks Like
- 01Custom PatternDrafted for your concept. Your fit. Not a generic blank shape.
- 02Real Fabric SpecSelected for your aesthetic and price point. Not whatever the POD vendor stocks.
- 03Atelier Construction ConstructionReal factory. Real seams. Real finishing.
- 04Your Brand Label and PackagingCustom labels, custom packaging, your story behind real garments.
- 05Reorder PipelineWhen pieces sell, reorders skip design and sampling. Re-runs in 2–3 weeks.
§ 003 / Five-Piece Launch Math
| Stage | Cost | Math |
|---|---|---|
| Total launch capital | Design + sample + 5 units | $2,760–3,260 |
| Per-unit landed cost | Materials + production amortized | ~$80 |
| Retail target | 3–4× cost | $240–320 / unit |
| Sell-out gross | 5 units × $280 average | $1,400 |
| Reorder gross (10 units) | Design fee skipped, materials only | $2,600+ |

§ What Happens After You Send Your Project
No black box. No sales call. Just a written reply.
Auto-confirmation lands in your inbox with your project ID. It is logged for the founder.
Personally, not a customer-success layer. Feasibility check against current calendar and atelier capacity.
Fixed price, line-itemized, with timeline. Or a written explanation if we are not the right house for the work.
No pressure. No follow-up calls. If you proceed, deposit confirms the commission. If not, no harm done.
Frequently Asked Questions
I've never made real product before, can you help?
Yes. That is the entire point of working with us instead of a print-on-demand floor. We translate your audience signal into actual garments.
Do you offer revenue share?
No standard revenue share, but we structure deferred payments for trusted creator partners with documented audience and prior monetization.
What is the minimum?
Five units per style with design fee. Below five we price as bespoke.
Can you ship globally?
Yes. Fulfillment runs from Paris. Six to twenty-two dollars per package depending on destination.
Can I see real product before committing?
Yes. Sample sign-off happens before production. You receive and approve the physical garment before any production unit is cut.
How is this different from POD?
Real construction, real fabric, real fit, real factory. Print-on-demand is a coupon. This is a brand.
How quickly do you actually reply?
Within 48 business hours. Median response time is 18 hours. We respond from the founder's inbox at [email protected]. If you do not see a reply in 48 hours, check spam.
Do I have to talk to anyone before I get a price?
No. The first interaction is a written quote in your inbox. We do not require a discovery call before pricing. Some clients prefer to talk after the quote lands; that is fine but optional.
Who owns the patterns and tech pack?
You do. Full intellectual property transfer to you after final payment. The pattern files, tech pack, grading, and BOM are yours. We retain an internal archive copy for reorders only.
What if I cancel before production?
Design fee paid before sampling begins is non-refundable once design work has started. Production deposit is refundable up until cutting begins. After cutting, the materials cost is locked in. We tell you clearly at each stage.
Can I see the fabric before sample?
Yes. Fabric swatches ship to you for sign-off before sampling begins. For commissions with custom fabric sourcing, lead time is 4 to 8 weeks for swatches.
