From a reference, a sketch, or a paragraph, to a fully-specified piece your atelier can sew. Pattern, fabric, hardware, fit, finish. The tech pack belongs to you when we're done, whether you proceed to production with us or not.
A real tech pack is the difference between "we'll figure it out at the sample stage" and a piece that arrives looking exactly like the photograph. Ours runs about twenty pages per style and contains everything your atelier needs to cut the piece without calling us first.
If you have done this before and you have a tech pack you already trust, we can skip this step entirely and quote you production directly. Most clients don't, and most of the projects that go wrong elsewhere went wrong here.
Drafted by hand from a body block, sized to your spec, graded across your size range. The pattern is yours.
Mill-sourced fabric with composition, weight, hand, drape, and finish notes. Pass-through pricing on the cloth.
Buttons, zippers, snaps, hooks, drawcords. Real components, sourced and specified.
Measurement points, ease, length, tolerances. Annotated technical flat with construction notes.
Costed line-by-line. You see what the fabric and hardware cost, what the labor costs, and what the markup is.
About two to three weeks from intake to a signed tech pack. Most of that time is spent waiting for fabric samples to arrive from the mills.
You send what you have, sketches, photographs, a paragraph about the customer. We respond with a working draft of the piece, fabric and hardware suggestions, and a fit philosophy. We expect at least one round of back-and-forth before drafting begins.
The pattern is drafted by hand. Fabric samples are ordered from the mills we've chosen. Hardware is sourced. We annotate every construction-critical decision so the tech pack is readable by any atelier.
You receive the full tech pack, the pattern, and the costed bill of materials. We talk through it. Any changes get made and re-issued. Once signed off, the tech pack is yours, and we can move straight into sampling.
