§ What Happens After You Send Your Project
No black box. No sales call. Just a written reply.
Auto-confirmation lands in your inbox with your project ID. It is logged for the founder.
Personally, not a customer-success layer. Feasibility check against current calendar and atelier capacity.
Fixed price, line-itemized, with timeline. Or a written explanation if we are not the right house for the work.
No pressure. No follow-up calls. If you proceed, deposit confirms the commission. If not, no harm done.
Frequently
Asked.
Do you do hand-canvassed jackets?
Yes. Half-canvas at premium grade, full-canvas at couture. Horsehair chest pieces, hand-padded collars and lapels. We do not do fused construction.
Can you handle custom print?
Yes. Sublimation, woven jacquard, hand-embroidered, brocade, mirror-shard inlay, hand-set crystal. We source through European and Japanese mills.
What is the minimum?
Five units per style with design fee. Without design fee minimum rises to fifty units. Bespoke menswear below five units is priced separately.
How many fittings?
Three to five for couture grade. Two for premium. We schedule against samples shipped to you, or from in-house body forms when remote.
Can you do bespoke or made-to-measure?
Yes. We grade from your block or develop a new block as part of the design fee. Block development takes 1-2 weeks.
How long is the timeline?
Sixteen to twenty-four weeks for a menswear capsule. Pattern, sample, fitting cycles, production. Couture menswear is the slowest category in the atelier.
What about lining and interior finishing?
Standard polyester satin, premium acetate, couture pure silk lining. Bound seams, French seams, hand-stitched interior at couture grade.
How quickly do you actually reply?
Within 48 business hours. Median response time is 18 hours. We respond from the founder's inbox at [email protected]. If you do not see a reply in 48 hours, check spam.
Do I have to talk to anyone before I get a price?
No. The first interaction is a written quote in your inbox. We do not require a discovery call before pricing. Some clients prefer to talk after the quote lands; that is fine but optional.
Who owns the patterns and tech pack?
You do. Full intellectual property transfer to you after final payment. The pattern files, tech pack, grading, and BOM are yours. We retain an internal archive copy for reorders only.
What if I cancel before production?
Design fee paid before sampling begins is non-refundable once design work has started. Production deposit is refundable up until cutting begins. After cutting, the materials cost is locked in. We tell you clearly at each stage.
Can I see the fabric before sample?
Yes. Fabric swatches ship to you for sign-off before sampling begins. For commissions with custom fabric sourcing, lead time is 4 to 8 weeks for swatches.
